Contractor Excellence Consulting & Coaching was founded by a group of lifelong friends who have spent their careers owning, operating, and growing home service companies—primarily in HVAC and plumbing. Between us, some have more than 20 years of hands‑on experience running service businesses from the inside out. We built our companies from the ground up, navigated the challenges of scaling, and ultimately sold to private equity. After several years working inside private‑equity environments, we’ve seen the full picture: the freedom and pressure of staying independent, the structure and expectations of private equity, and the real‑world impacts each can have on owners, teams, and customers.
Those experiences shaped our belief that independent contractors deserve the tools, systems, and support to compete—and win—in a rapidly changing marketplace. We’ve lived the same frustrations, faced the same decisions, and celebrated the same victories as the companies we serve today.
